Mr. Gaurav Kumar is a well-educated and experienced individual with a diverse range of interests and expertise. He graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Surat, and went on to pursue a postgraduate degree in Anthropology. Mr. Kumar is a bibliophile with a keen interest in geography, world history, and internal security.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Mr. Kumar is also an avid traveler who has visited numerous countries around the world, including Singapore, Russia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Ukraine, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Malaysia, and Iran.
He has also traveled to 20 Indian states and has a deep understanding of the country’s geography and culture.
Mr. Kumar is also a dedicated mentor and teacher who has helped over 200 students clear the UPSC Civil Service Exam. He is a senior mentor at Legacy IAS and has been with the organization since its founding.
In his teaching, Mr. Kumar focuses on promoting conceptual clarity among students rather than rote learning. His expertise in anthropology and his passion for teaching have made him a valuable asset to the organization and to his students.
